  • 480 hours of experience teaching in the BC public school system as a practicum student.
  • 1084 hours of relevant teaching experience as a Teacher Candidate, Teaching assistant at Thompson Rivers University, Rock Climbing Coach, and Tutor. Climbers I have coached have competed at the national level.
  • Experience working with students who have IEP’s. I supported students with different learning styles and behaviour issues by incorporating a wide range of UDL and classroom management strategies.
  • I have successfully created three unit plans in chemistry, math, and physics that respectfully integrate the First Peoples Principles of Learning. I received positive feedback on those lessons.
